Biocides in the EU are now entering a new phase in the EU-harmonized approval process. Soon applications for approval of biocidal products must be submitted, and for that good efficacy studies must support the claim the product makes (e.g. Kills 99.9% of all harmful germs).
On 24 February 2009, DHI hosts a symposium on biocidal products, claims, and efficacy documentation.
