Theme meeting: Predictive Toxicology - Faster to First Human Dose

25 Jul 2008

As the cost of developing new medicinal products has risen dramatically over the past decade and success rates remain almost unchanged, the need for more sensitive and specific screening tests in preclinical development has risen. At the same time there is a trend to include toxicology earlier in the discovery phase.

At this afternoon meeting we present the current progress and trends in toxicological research plus new technologies and tools at the hands of toxicologists in this fast evolving area.
